Strontium chromate is the most effective and long-lasting anticorrosion pigment worldwide. There are many sensitive applications where strontium chromate can not be replaced because of the proven superior durability and because without it fatal consequences in corrosion protection would result. A classic example is the aerospace sector.

Of course Habich GmbH is continually researching effective and safe alternatives for strontium chromate. However, currently there is no equally effective alternative. Habich GmbH assumes the responsibility and does not shirk it in countries with lower security standards. We believe it makes more sense to manufacture a hazardous product in a country with high environmental and safety standards than in a country where such conditions are not met.
