Thermochromic Pigments

Thermochromic Pigments are microcapsulated dyes produced by Kelly Chemical Cooperation. The reversible color changes of Thermocromic Pigments are induced by temperature change.

Color starts fading to colorless when temperature reaches its designed range. The range can be between -15°C and +65°C. Regardless of the color changing temperature, the products can be incorporated at higher temperatures (heat resistance in polyolefins up to 230 ° C).

Thermochromic pigments are FDA approved and free of Bisphenol-A.

Different qualities for paints, printing inks and plastics are offered. Thermochromic pigments can be used with each other or in combination with non-thermochromic colorants.
